We source fresh vibrant beeswax from local beekeepers.
Beeswax is hypoallergenic and features a natural color and scent.
How is beeswax made and harvested? Around fifteen days old, a daughter honey bee engorges on honey which causes a wax secretion from their belly. They sculpt this wax to form the hexagonal honeycomb—which houses the hive’s food and babies. A seasonal beekeeper collects wax up to three times per year, as a byproduct of the honey harvest.
Inside the hive,
beeswax begins colorless and scentless.
The golden hue varies based on the
plant material collected by the honey bee.

The heart of the candle studio is a pot of beeswax.
The scent of floral honey fills the air.
Wax touches everything.
just beeswax and a cotton wick.

Candlelight leaves little to nothing behind. Our packaging matches this vanishing act. We use materials like biodegradable tape, cotton string and uncoated paper to leave behind compostable low-impact waste.

Send candle scraps. Get recycled candles.
